Fluorocarbon: Stiffer but Manageable Fluoro's stiffness reduces line memory but increases backlash risk with light lures
Backlash can quickly ruin an otherwise perfect fishing cast
This reel did not disappoint right out of the box
Low gear ratios allow for the required super slow retrieve for when conditions are tough
Be advised: although slight modifications can help you in certain situations, the magnetic braking systems on modern baitcasters are somewhat novelty features
Monofilament / Fluorocarbon Before we even think of spooling up, we must consider the memory characteristic of this line class
